So many Disney songs and just 25 spots to put them in...So today we have two #10 songs. And well, like Woody, Buzz, BoPeep, Jesse, Rex, and on and on you can't have too many friends can you? I love this intro to the movie, it really gives you a look into the relationship between Andy and Woody doesn't it. It is very real, and Andy really does consider Woody a friend, just as much as he would a classmate or neighbor. I think that we could all learn a lesson here, friends come in all shapes and sizes and they could be right there in the room with you or hundreds of miles away chatting with you via Facebook or Twitter. So today I dedicate this song to all of my blogging buddies out there, thanks for being my friend and I hope you know "You've Got A Friend In Me!"  Have A Magical Day!!

Walter Elias "Walt" Disney - (December 5, 1901- December 15, 1966) Walt was truly a pioneer in the animation field, and he faced a lot of adversity along the way. One of the things I admire most is the fact that he never lost faith that what he was doing was right, no matter what obstacles stood in the way. We could all learn something from the positive attitude, and we should all have as much confidence in ourselves and our ideas. I think Walt the man was so much more than the movies, television, merchandise, theme parks. One of my favorite Walt Disney quotes "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them."
Walt Disney World - Covering approximately 21 square miles, Walt Disney World is home to the largest and most visited recreational facility in the world. Located in Kissimmee, FL is has 4 Theme Parks, 2 Water Parks, 23 Resort Hotels, and 2 Health Spas. Tired yet? The thing I love most is it is exactly what Walt wanted, a living breathing growing theme park, just look at what is happening now with the changes going on at Fantasy Land. Disney World is ever changing and that is part of Walt Disney's dream. I am sure he is smiling down on all the changes as they happen.
Wake Up Calls - Wake up calls at a Disney World Resort are a real treat, most of the time you get Mickey Mouse when you answer the phone, occasionally you do get another character but that's great too!  Even if you set the alarm clock while you're at Disney World make sure you get a wake up call too!
Wedding Pavilion - I cannot imagine getting married at Disney World, I would be so happy!  The wedding pavilion is located beside the Grand Floridian and Polynesian on it's own private island in the Seven Seas Lagoon. It is extremely elegant, and tasteful and Disney really knows how to do everything right, you don't have to worry about anything. Your family even gets a Disney Vacation when they come to the wedding!! Wendy (Peter Pan) - Wendy, her stories were the whole reason Peter came to London. Tink, the mermaids and even Tiger Lily were jealous of her, no wonder she didn't care for Neverland much.
Winnie The Pooh - Everyone's favorite friend from the Hundred Acre Wood, enough said.
Woody (Toy Story)- The Rootin' Tootin' leader of Andy's toys. How could you not love Woody? Woody loves Andy so much and he is Andy's favorite toy, along with Buzz, and they do make an awesome duo. He wants the toys to all stay together so badly and he is so valiant in how he tries to save Wheezy and gets captured by the Toy Barn guy, but that's another story.
Will Turner - I do love the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, and the story line with Will and Elizabeth have a good deal to do with that. Of course, Orlando Bloom isn't bad to look at either...
Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress - This show was actually created by Walt himself for the 1964-1965 New York World's Fair. It's located in Tomorrowland in The Magic Kingdom, the fascinating thing about the show is that the audience actually rotates around the stage, they learn how technology has made our lives easier and more comfortable decade by decade. The show lasts just over 20 minutes.
Walt Disney World Railroad -  Lilly Belle, Roy O. Disney, Roger E. Broggie and Walter E. Disney, these are the four trains of the Walt Disney World Railroad. Walt loved trains, and these for trains are all pulled by fully restored antiques steam engines dating back to the turn of the 20th century. The trains will take you for a 20 minute scenic trip around the Magic Kingdom with stops at Main Street U.S.A. and Frontierland.
Walt Disney:One Man's Dream - I'm really looking forward to this attraction, I am such an admirer of Walt's. There are photographs, audio interviews and memorabilia that tell his story in this self guided tour. I am excited to see the models for Main Street USA (California) and Sleeping Beauty Castle in particular. There are over 400 artifacts in this attraction, including a desk from Walt's second grade classroom.
Wilderness Lodge - This deluxe resort is where we stayed on our last trip in 2003. We even had a view of the geyser from our balcony. I love the rustic look to everything, the exterior reminded me of a huge log cabin with a green metal roof. We chose to use the ferry boats to get to almost everywhere we had to go, it was so convenient and buses were readily available.  The rooms were very comfortable, they have 727, and the 7 story lobby was amazing, there was an 82 foot stone fireplace with rocking chairs. There were two 55 foot totem poles in the lobby, they were pretty incredible. We would definitely stay again, we are just trying out a resort we haven't stayed at this time.
Wishes Nighttime Spectacular- The spectacular fireworks show at Disney's Magic Kingdom, there really is no better way to end a day at Walt Disney World. Jiminy Cricket hosts an amazing fireworks and lights display synchronized to Disney music with

Roy O. Disney - Walt's big brother, for all of the wonderful things Walt did none of it would have been possible without Roy. Walt was the creative brother, Roy was the financial genius in the family. Together they were unstoppable, just look at what they accomplished. When Walt died before Disney World was finished, Roy put off his retirement to make sure Walt's dream was completed, and even added Walt's name to make it Walt Disney World. So when you think about Disney, just remember the "quiet" brother behind the scenes, I promise he was crucial to making all magic that is "The Happiest Place On Earth."
Rafiki (The Lion King) - The old and wise baboon who is a true and faithful friend to Mufasa. He has quite a sense of humor too. I really liked him in the movie, and he certainly taught Simba a lesson or two.
Rabbit & Roo - Both friends of Winnie the Pooh. Rabbit with his temper and his garden to tend to and little Roo the youngest citizen of the Hundred Acre Wood.
Remy & Ratatouille - A rat who is also a wonderful French chef, who knew. Now we all know "anyone can cook."
Rex (Toy Story) - This guy worries way too much about his small roar, but he is a great friend who is always there anytime the other toys need him.
Randall Boggs (Monsters Inc.) - This monsters ability to scare children is commendable, his is about to break the scare record. But his ruthless behind the scenes activities and willingness to kidnap children and steal their screams to store energy is cruel.
Roz (Monsters Inc.) - Number 1, as it turns out, Roz was a stickler for paperwork wasn't she. She was a hoot and kept Mike on his toes didn't she?
Rock N' Roller Coaster - Aerosmith worked with Disney to get the music exactly perfect for this roller coaster ride. It's an all indoor que, and you go from 0-58 in just over 2 seconds. I am not usually a roller coaster girl, but I'm gonna give it a shot, I'll let you know how it goes...
Runoff Rapids - When you visit Blizzard Beach make sure you ride down Mount Gushmore on the three unique waterslides called Runoff Rapids. The two outer slides can accommodate rafts that hold two people but the middle slide is enclosed the whole way down and only one person inner tube are allowed.
Rainforest Cafe - Disney World has 2 locations, one at Downtown Disney and the other at Animal Kingdom. I guess the Disney World site says it better than I ever could "Rainforest Cafe in Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park brings adventure to the lunch and dinner table with outstanding American cuisine that includes luscious salads, pasta, sandwiches, seafood, burgers and poultry dishes, as well as a variety of vegetarian selections." This particular quote is from the Animal Kingdom section of the Disney site but the menu is the same at each location.
Rose & Crown Pub - From what I understand reasonably close an English Pub in EPCOT, complete with fish and chips, and free flowing ale.
Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant - It St. Patty's Day, I can't leave this one out now can I? It's in Downtown Disney and serves us traditional Irish favorites like beef stew and Guiness,and has live entertainment.

Jungle Book - Mowgli, Baloo, Bagheera, King Louie; I love the characters from this movie!!  This music is great, the story is great!  Ash & I watched it hundreds of times when she was little.
Jasmine - One of the Disney Princesses, she has to be on list. And I love the movie Aladdin. She is beautiful and exotic, and she has a pet tiger, how cool is that???
Jafar - As long as we are talking about Aladdin, we can't forget it's villain now can we?
Jack Jack (The Incredibles) - Baby Jack Jack, the youngest of the Incredibles.
James Norrington (Pirates of the Caribbean) - His life changed considerably from the first movie to the third. Aren't we glad Elizabeth didn't marry him!!
Joshamee Gibbs (Pirates of the Caribbean) - Mr. Gibbs, I bet you didn't know his first name did ya!!
Jiminy Cricket - Pinocchio had to have a conscious and who better than Jiminy Cricket to do the job?
John (Peter Pan) - One of the Darling children who accompanied Peter to Neverland. I didn't see this movie until I was almost 40, and I loved it immediately, and the ride is definitely a favorite at Disney World.
Jetsam (The Little Mermaid) - Along with Flotsam, one of those evil electric eels of Ursula's!
Jessie (Toy Story) - What a shame this little red headed fireball of a cowgirl had to spend all those years not being played with. She is so much fun in Toy Story 2, and she was really meant to have a little girl play with her, thank goodness Buzz and Woody rescued her from that Toy Barn guy!!
Jungle Cruise - It's a hokey ride, but it is a Disney classic. I am sure we will be on it come July.
Japan Pavilion - I think Japanese architecture is so beautiful, I am really looking forward to seeing the Japan Pavilion at the World Showcase in EPCOT. I hear the  pagoda, rock garden and koi ponds are stunning.

Hollywood Studios - One of the "Big Four Parks" you know you're there when you see Sorcerer Mickey's hat. The absolute must sees are Rockin Roller Coaster, Toy Story Mania & Tower of Terror.
Hamm (Toy Story) - This cute little pink piggy bank from the Toy Story movies knows everything or at least thinks he does. Don't we all know somebody like that??
Hercules - This movie came out the year Dakota was born, 1997. Hercules is the son of Zeus and Hera, you all know about his amazing strength. Hades is his brother and nemesis, it is not my favorite Disney movie, but it is a good movie nonetheless.
Happy (Snow White) - "Heigh-Ho, Heigh-Ho it's of to work we go..." another of Snow White's dwarfs.
Haunted Mansion - Not nearly as scary as it sounds, I love this ride. The special effects are great, the cobwebs and dust are perfect and the hitchhiker you pickup along the way is great. I can't wait to visit the mansion again on this trip.
Hidden Mickey's - It's so much fun to look for these all over Disney World isn't it! Just google it and you will find tons of hints and info to get you started.
Hundred Acre Wood - Where else would you find Pooh, Tigger and all their friends? I would be a really magical and fun place to live wouldn't it?

A Lot Has Changed Since 2003...

Our one and only trip to Disney World was in January 2003. This past weekend as we were looking through the guide books and talking about our trip I got to thinking about all of the new movies Disney and Pixar have produced since then. There should really be a lot of new characters and things for us to see at Disney. First, you have to look at the Pixar movies, the best I can remember Toy Story was the only one that had come out at the time of our visit. We did get to see Buzz Lightyear, Dakota was a huge fan at the time, he was thrilled - but you never saw Woody.  I believe we get to see him around Magic Kingdom now with Jessie. I remember riding the Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin where you get to shoot the lazer gun at the targets and save the world from Zurg. This time we get to check out Toy Story Mania at Hollywood Studios!  I understand it's really popular and a FastPass is a must!! Then there's Cars and Finding Nemo. We will have to go see "Finding Nemo-The Musical", and The Seas with Nemo and Friends, then Turtle Talk with Crush. Who doesn't love Crush?  Monster's Inc. is another family favorite, we will have to visit the Laugh Floor. Then there are the new Princesses, Tiana and Rapunzel. And my favorite of all Captain Jack Sparrow-Pirates of the Carribean. Too bad it's not really Johnny Depp!  We didn't ride the attraction in 2003. We just ran out of time, and now I'm kind of glad. We love the movies and Captain Jack. It's definitely on our "Must Do" list for this time around. I hear he may be making an appearance at the park again with the new movie coming out, maybe he will be there while we are there. It is rumored that he will be at the parks with Black Beard's Daughter from the new movie. Then you have the attractions not associated with a move like Soarin', Expedition Everest, American Idol Experience. Something tells me we aren't going to have enough time to do it all again this time. Looks like I will just have to start planning another Disney Vacation, but there won't be 8 years in between visits again.
